People move away. Relationships change. Jobs end. Circumstances shift. If our happiness depends entirely on things outside of us, it can disappear as quickly as it arrived.

Real happiness is something we build from within. It is the feeling that helps us get through difficult days and appreciate the good ones even more. It creates stability when life feels uncertain.

So how do we build happiness that remains strong even when life changes?

1. Build a Strong Foundation of Faith

Maybe it's simply a quiet morning with a cup of coffee.

  1. This was a great read. As someone who is in a career field trying to help keep others happy and afloat, I often forget to check on me and my happiness. I’ve often said that helping people makes me happy…but when i’m not helping people I feel lost. Now I have to do some deep diving to see what makes me happy that’s not liable to change.
