April Challenge
April Fools? Not Today. Let’s Walk for a Cure.
I love a good laugh, and April 1st is usually filled with jokes and pranks. But today, there are no jokes—just a serious commitment to something bigger than laughter: hope, progress, and accountability.
Why This Challenge Matters
Over the past few days, I’ve been reflecting on goals—how we set them, how we push ourselves, and how we hold each other accountable. A movement has been gaining traction: walk 100 miles in April to raise awareness for cancer research. This challenge isn’t just another trending fitness goal—it’s personal.
Cancer has deeply impacted my life. I have multiple family members who have fought this battle. Some won, some did not. My brother is currently fighting to win his lung cancer battle. He has made incredible progress, but his fight isn’t over. His fight is my fight. And he’s not alone. Millions of people are battling every day, hoping for a cure, more time, and a future free from this disease.

We’re walking 100 miles in April to show support, raise awareness, and push for progress. Whether you walk, run, or mix it up, every step counts. Let’s move for those who can’t, fight for those still battling, and honor those we’ve lost.
